I agree in the sense that he was only hinting at the architectural decisions that you need to make to scale horizontally vs. vertically, and hybrid scale models like we would probably see a lot of in the government where data sensitivity is important.

Just finished with the webinar. I thought it was a little disappointing in that it really did not convey any information other than using the cloud will solve you scalability problems. There is a bit more than using the cloud for helping with scalability, such as creating your applications to be run in parallel rather than sequential will help a lot, even with a dual core single CPU machine.
