Good grief. Took me long enough to go again. Slowed the pace a bit – same distance (a mile and a quarter maybe), eleven minutes “clock-to-clock” – i.e. I look right before I step out the door, run, have a cool down section, and walk inside and look again. Last time was 9 minutes I think, and I was HURTING. Not so bad now, but we’ll se tomorrow. This time I just really need to get back out there sooner.

Pills
Kind of distressing this evening. Looked down and realized I was taking a regular drugstore’s worth of pills – two ibuprofen (which is less than I often take), one multivitamin (this new one has ginko and ginseng!), one claritin generic (antihistamine), and one sudafed twelve hour (decongestant). Fuckin’ hate allergies.
Pain
Started running on Sunday. Yesterday (Tuesday) I was still in pain, and today I got an allergy attack – should have run though. The main part being I need to establish a routine. I’d like to get to 3 times a week, and then start increasing length of time and/or distance…
More Home Network Overload
OK, so the new plan:
Cardhu the Mac mini as the web server, maybe running off an external firewire drive (probably the 160 GB) for size plus longevity (?).
Oban the 1 Ghz Athlon with FreeBSD 5.X as fileserver with 2 200 GB drives in software RAID-0 (gvinum).
Springbank the old fileserver goes away/becomes new testbed.
Knockando the 867 Mhz PB 12″ becomes dev/Mac testing/used more as a laptop.
New mac mini gets ordered when it would come with Tiger, used with the Dell FP2005W (need a name!).
Cosmo the Celeron 466 desktop becomes solely for Erin’s work and a 2nd browser.
